Introduction from ABL Health
ABL Health was founded in 2009 by people who believed they could and should change the world!
As healthcare and education professionals, we had first-hand experience of public services that had failed people, people who needed them most and we believed that we could provide a different, more flexible approach. We wanted to combine our expertise and experiences of the social and economic problems that held people back and find a way to support and empower people to live healthier, better lives whatever their background.
Healthier, happier for longer – we make lives better
To eradicate health inequalities and we do this by supporting people to become active participants in their health.
By engaging people and communities in conversations about what ‘being well’ really means to them we build imaginative and responsive services around their needs.
We identify the barriers that people face and help them understand their own and their communities’ health and wellbeing needs.
We support them to overcome and manage these barriers and empower them to share their newfound knowledge and skills.
We connect them to wider community assets and encourage them to influence how these develop and grow.
At ABL Health, we believe in a multidisciplinary approach. We bring together clinical and non-clinical specialists from a range of backgrounds and combine our expertise to create and deliver pathways of care which are imaginative and responsive.
More information about the services we offer can be found on the ABL Health website.
